How we use your information and how to contact us.

Updated 26 October 2026. Contact us with questions about this notice or your information.

01 / WHO WE ARE

Your information.
Handled with care.

Glen jr Kamali Hankey is responsible for personal information used by Divine Glory Beauty & Spa. Contact us at info@divineglorybeautyandspa.co.uk or 89 High Street, Andover, SP10 1ND.

02 / SHOPPING & ENQUIRIES

What we use and why.

When you shop, the connected Lightspeed store collects the contact, order, delivery and payment information needed to process your purchase. Payment details are handled through the checkout’s payment service. We use order information to fulfil your contract and handle returns; we retain records required for accounting and other legal obligations.

When you contact us, we use the details you provide to answer your enquiry. Our legitimate interests are providing customer support, resolving disputes and protecting the business and website from fraud or misuse. Technical information such as IP address, browser details and security logs may be processed by our hosting and shop providers to operate and secure their services.

Required checkout fields are needed to process your order. If you do not provide them, we may be unable to complete it. Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information in general enquiries.

03 / SERVICES WE USE

Who helps us serve you.

Information is shared where needed with Lightspeed/Ecwid for the store, the payment service selected at checkout, Royal Mail for delivery, and website hosting and business email providers. Authorised team members may access information needed for their work.

Salon booking is provided through a separate app. Its account and booking services use Supabase, and transactional emails use Resend. Booking details are used to manage appointment requests and updates. These messages are separate from marketing.

Google Maps, WhatsApp and other external links open services with their own privacy notices. This website does not embed their maps or chat widgets.

Some service providers may process information outside the UK. We are reviewing their processing locations and contractual safeguards. Contact us for the current information about the providers involved in your order or booking.

04 / MARKETING & RETENTION

Useful contact.
No marketing by default.

We do not currently use customer emails for marketing. If we introduce marketing, we will explain it separately and provide the required choice and a straightforward way to unsubscribe. Ordering or booking does not itself opt you into marketing.

Our retention criteria are the time needed to fulfil orders and appointments, deal with enquiries, returns or disputes, and satisfy applicable legal record-keeping requirements. Access should be limited to those who need it; unnecessary records should be deleted or anonymised. Retention depends on the type of record and applicable legal requirements. You can ask us about the records we hold and request deletion where those requirements allow it.

EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS

Order updates and email tracking.

Lightspeed sends order and collection updates on our behalf. Its email service includes tracking images that may report when a message is opened, and support says its service also measures interaction with messages. Lightspeed support has told us this built-in tracking cannot currently be disabled. Automated marketing emails are disabled.

We have asked Lightspeed’s privacy team to clarify the data collected, retention, safeguards and relationship to consent. That review remains open. The shop’s browser cookie choices do not establish a separate choice about tracking inside email. Your email application may offer a setting to block remote images. Contact us if you have questions or need help with an order.

05 / YOUR CHOICES

Your data.
Your rights.

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy of your information. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests, and you can always object to direct marketing. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Email info@divineglorybeautyandspa.co.uk to exercise your rights. We may need proportionate identity checks. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

The shop offers cookie choices for optional tracking. TikTok remains connected, while the previous Meta Pixel and unused Kliken integration have been removed. Optional shop cookies can be declined or changed through the shop’s cookie settings. Read our cookie information.
